Since the year1974 the "Volkstanzkreis St.Oswald bei Plankenwarth" has cultivated different kinds of folk dances like the "Reiftanz", the "Fackeltanz" and the "Agathtanz". Figure dances and pair dances as well as the "Schuhplattler" - a special dance for men practised in Alpine regions - and folkloristic dances from various foreign countries enrich the repertoire of the group. On the occasion of international festivals a great number of foreign groups has already been accommodated over and over in St. Oswald from from which amicable contacts and a valuable cultural exchange result.
